Also known as Ling Cod, Spotted Hake, Wild Cusk Eel.

Found over mud and sand bottoms, of deep water, coastal areas.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, and squid.
Juveniles found in estuaries.

Depth - 0-500m
Widespread Northwest Atlantic
