Description

Also known as Banded Scad, Crevelle, Djeddaba Crevalle, Djeddaba Scad, Even-bellied Crevelle, Herring Trevally, Horse Mackerel, Scad, Shrimp Caranx, Shrimp Scad, Trevally, Yellowtail Scad.

Found in large schools, in shallow waters, over sand patches of inshore reefs.
They feed on aquatic crustaceans, small fish, and invertebrates.
