Also known as Mojarra, Seabream, South American Silver Porgy, White Bream.

Found singly or in small schools around rocky areas over surge zones of rocky coastlines.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.
Juveniles found over sandy shores and seagrass beds.
Length - 37cm
Depth - 0-15m
Widespread - Western Central Atlantic, Caribbean
