Description

Also known as Blackcap Damsel, Bluehead Damsel, Bluehead Demoiselle, Blue-headed Damsel, Rolland's Damsel.

Found singly or in small schools, amongst coral and rocks, of protected harbours, lagoons, inner and outer reef slopes.
They feed on zooplankton.

Damselfish are egg layers.
