Description
Also known as Bream, Butterfish, Pin Perch, Red Porgie, Saltwater Bream, Sand Perch, Seabream, Sailors Choice.
Found singly or in large schools, in both brackish and freshwaters, over mangrove areas and rocky bottoms rich in vegetation.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, molluscs and worms.
