Description

Found in deep off-shore areas, often in pods of 25-50 at a time.
They feed on fish and squid.
Length - 400cm
Depth - 0-2400m
Widespread Tropical waters of Atlantic Ocean, Indo-Pacific

They have a bulbous head with the fin far forward. Their body colour is black to brown with a large grey saddle mark behind the Dorsal Fin.
These toothed whales have only one blow hole.
