Also known as Pictus Catfish.

Found in schools, over mud and sandy substrates, in shallow, flowing channels, rivers and their tributaries.
They feed nocturnally on aquatic invertebrates and plants.

South America - Amazon and Orinoco River Basins

Common in the Aquarium trade.
