Also known as Eyespot Sleeper, Gudgeon, Peacock Goby, Peacock-eye Goby, Peacock-eye Gudgeon, Rainbow Gudgeon, Sleeper Goby.

Found in loose schools, hovering over the bottoms, of ponds, rivers, and rainforest steams.
They feed on crustaceans, insect larvae, and insects.
