Also known as Chestnut Moray, Green Moray,Green Moray Eel, Panamic Green Moray Eel.

Found singly, during the day lurking in dark crevices, holes, and recesses of the reef, at night out in the open, foraging for food over the reef.
They feed on crustaceans and small fish.
Length - 150cm
Depth - 3-36m
Widespread Eastern Pacific

Morays open and close their mouths to move water through their gills for respiration.
