Also known as Common Fusegoby, Gudgeon, Sand Goby, Transparent Cave Goby.

Found singly close to their burrows over rubble and sand bottoms close to reefs.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.
Length - 6cm
Depth - 10-48m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

These Gobies feed by taking a mouthful of sand that is filtered through the gills for tiny creatures.
