Also known as Common Fusegoby, Gudgeon, Sand Goby, Transparent Cave Goby.

Found singly, close to their burrows, over rubble and sand bottoms of reefs.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.
Length - 6cm
Depth - 10-48m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

These Gobies feed by taking a mouthful of sand that is filtered through the gills for tiny creatures.
