Description
Also known as Crosshatch Goby, Lined Goby, Mural Glider Goby, Mural Sleeper Goby, Sandsifting Goby, Sleeper Goby, Striped Goby.
Found as adults in pairs or juveniles in small schools. Close to their burrows, sifting through sand with their mouths looking for food, over areas with fine sand, on coastal sand and rubble flats of shallow lagoon reefs, often close to mangroves.
They feed on small invertebrates.

These Gobies feed by taking a mouthful of sand that is filtered through the gills for tiny creatures.
