Description
Also known as Bangos, Bony Salmon, Chanos, Giant Herring, Moreton Bay Salmon, Salmon Herring, White Mullet.
Found in small to large schools, over well developed reef areas of shallow, coastal bays, estuaries, rivers and island reefs.
They feed on soft algae, pelagic fish eggs, larvae and benthic invertebrates.

Depth - 1-30m
