Also known as Bigmouth Leatherjacket, Deepbody Leatherjacket, Leatherjacket, Longjaw Queenfish, Trevally.

Found in schools, over shallow coastal waters of bays, estuaries and coastal rivers.
They feed on benthic crustaceans, fish and zooplankton.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 0-30m
Widespread Eastern Pacific

These fish have venomous spines on their dorsal and Anal Fins!
