Found over rocky bottoms of estuaries, marshes and shorelines.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, plant remains and worms.

Depth - 0-380m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Brachyura crabs are considered true crabs, they have a short abdomen, four walking legs and a pair of clawed arms at the front.
