Found over rocky bottoms, of estuaries, marshes, and shorelines.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, plant remains, and worms.

Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Brachyura crabs are considered true crabs, they have a short abdomen, four walking legs and a pair of clawed arms at the front.
