Description

Also known as Bicolor Chub, Grey Chub, Insular Rudderfish, Rudderfish.

Found in small to large schools, in shallow water, surge zones, close to coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on benthic algae, crabs, molluscs, faeces, and vomit, from spinner dolphins.
Length - 41cm
Depth - 0-25m
Central Pacific - Hawaiian and probably the Line Islands

Impossible to distinguish these two fish underwater fin ray and gill raker counts required for positive identification.
