Found mainly in shallow waters, over sandy areas of estuaries, coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on algae and invertebrates.
Length - 20cm
Depth - 1-100m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic

The bodies of Pufferfish are covered in a toxic mucus, if the skin or flesh is consumed it can be fatal to humans.
