Description

Also known as African Angelfish, West African Angel, West African Angelfish.

Found singly, in shallow waters, close to rocks, and corals of rocky reefs, rich in invertebrate growth.
They feed on algae, soft corals, jellyfish, plankton, sponges and tunicates.
Length - 45cm
Depth - 1-40m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
