Description

Also known as Atkinson's Emperor, Pacific Yellowtail Emperor, Reticulated Emperor, Sky Emperor, Tricky Snapper, Yellow Morwong, Yellowbrow Emperor, Yellow-tailed Emperor.

Found singly or in schools, over sand and seagrass beds, of lagoons and outer reef slopes.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, and molluscs.
Length - 41cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Pacific Ocean
