Also known as Asian Catfish, Chao Phraya Giant Catfish, Dog Eating Catfish, Freshwater Catfish, Giant Catfish, Pangasiid Catfish, Paroon Shark, Sanitwongse's Catfish.

Found in large rivers, of the Chao Phraya, and the Mekong River Basins.
They feed on crustaceans and fish, also will feed on carcasses of fowl and dogs!
Juveniles found in tributaries.
