Description

Also known as Black Goby, Gudgeon, Reef Goby.

Found singly, in brackish waters, amongst rocks, tide-pools and weedy areas, close to the shore of coastal reefs.
They feed on green algae, crustaceans, insects and worms.
Length - 14cm
Depth - 10-35m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Black Sea, Mediterranean
