Description

Also known as Footballer Sweep, Mado, Neatypus, Stripys, Western Footballer.

Found in large schools over both inshore and offshore reefs.
They feed on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.
Length - 22cm
Depth - 10-200m
Eastern Indian Ocean - Southern Australia

Often found in the aquarium trade.

Rudderfish are usually found in turbulent high energy zones where food is more abundant.
