Found singly or in pairs, over shallow, silty waters, of bays, channels, harbours, lagoons, and reef flats.
They feed on algae and invertebrates.
Length - 12cm
Depth - 2-25m
Widespread Western Pacific

The bodies of Pufferfish are covered in a toxic mucus, if the skin or flesh is consumed it can be fatal to humans.
