Description

Also known as Dusky Stingfish, Japanese Stingfish, Marbled Rockfish, Ocean Perch, Rock Perch, Sea Perch, Sea Ruffe, Stingfish.

Found close to shore, on rocky bottoms, of lagoons and seaward reefs.
They feed on crustaceans and fish.

Widespread Western Pacific
