Found singly, pairs, or in harems, perched on corals and rocks, over shallow, coastal and outer reef flats and slopes, of coral reefs.
They feed on small crustaceans, fish larvae, and invertebrates.
Length - 7cm
Depth - 4-40m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
