Found over very shallow rocky estuaries, pools and coastal shorelines, sometimes also found in freshwater streams.
They feed on algae, crustaceans and fish.
Juveniles found in the arms of branching corals.
Length - 12cm
Depth - 0-6m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
