Description

Also know as the Deepsea Umbrella Octopus, Flapjack Octopus.

Found singly living at extreme depths on the sea floor.
They feed on pelagic invertebrates which they suck up hole!
Length - 30cm
Depth - 0-4000m
Widespread Circumtropical

This octopus is named after Disney's Dumbo elephant!

Dumbo Octopus live at extreme depths, slowly foraging for food on the sea floor, by flapping their ear-like fins and using their webbed arms to steer!
