Description

Also known as Blacktip Fusilier, Black-tipped Fusilier, Dark-banded Fusilier, Doubleline Fusilier, Doublestripe Fusilier, Twostripe Fusilier, Yellow-striped Fusilier.

Found in schools, over coastal coral reefs. Varies in colour, from blue to red with night and day.
They feed midwater on zooplankton.

Depth - 0-50m
Widespread Western Pacific

Fusiliers are close relatives of snappers, but are much smaller and more slender.
Schools of fusiliers often have other species mixed in.
