Description

Also known as Dolphin, Dorado, Green Dolphin, Mahi-mahi.

Found in schools, on the surface of open waters, sometimes under floating seaweed rafts, occasionally over shallow coastal reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, squid and zooplankton.
Length - 200cm
Depth - 0-85m
Circumtropical

Dolphinfish are some of the fastest growing species in the ocean and are a primary food source for pelagic predators.
