Found in pairs and family groups, with their host anemone, over protected lagoons and seaward reefs. This fish has thick black lines around the white!
They feed on zooplankton.

Depth - 0-15cm
Widespread Western Pacific

Stichodactyla gigantea - Giant Carpet Anemone

Anemonefish are specialised damselfish and live a symbiotic relationship with various anemones. Some anemonefish will only be found with one type of anemone, but others can live with many types.
