Description

Also know as Biscuit Urchin, Heart Urchin, Sand Dollar, Sea Biscuit.

Found singly, or in large groups, usually partially buried, in shallow waters, over fine rubble, sand, and seagrass beds of reefs.
They feed nocturnally on algae and benthic plankton.
Length - 8cm
Depth - 0-57m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
