Description

Also known as Buffalo Boxfish, Buffalo Cowfish, Cowfish, Spotted Trunkfish, Trunkfish.

Found around coral, rubble and seagrass beds over off-shore reefs. Colour can vary to blend in with background.
They feed on crustaceans, benthic invertebrates, molluscs, tunicates and worms.
Length - 55cm
Depth - 2-50m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean
