Also known as Asian Bronze Featherback, Asian Knifefish, Asiatic Knifefish, Common Knifefish, Ghost Knifefish, Grey Featherback.

Found in both brackish and clear waters, of canals, floodplains, lakes, ponds, and streams, migrating in the wet season to floodplains, then back to main stream waters in the dry season.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans, fish, and insects.
