Also known as Bottle-nosed Dolphin, Common Bottlenose Dolphin, Indian Ocean Bottlenose Dolphin, Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin, Red Sea Bottlenose Dolphin, Southern Bottlenose Dolphin.

Found in pairs or large pods, over rocky bottoms and seagrass beds, in most waters from inshore to open ocean.
They feed on crabs, small bony fish, octopus, and squid.

Depth - 0-2000m
Widespread Southern Atlantic, Indo-Pacific

Dolphins are very social animals and curious of divers.
They feed by echo location usually on schooling pelagic fish.
