Description

Also known as Gudgeon, Reef Goby, Sea Gudgeon.

Found over algae, mud, sand and seagrass bottoms of estuaries, lagoons and coastal reefs.
They feed on bivalves, tiny crustaceans, small fish, molluscs and worms.
Length - 18cm
Depth - 1-90m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Black Sea, Mediterranean
