Also known as Barcheek Kingfish, Island Jack, Oblique-banded, Oblique-banded Trevally, Shortridge Trevally, Trevally.

Found singly or in schools, over shallow waters, along edges of steep outer reef and lagoon slopes.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, and squid.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 2-200m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
