OP Says: Hi - all the Paracanthurus hepatus in Pulau Weh, NW Indonesia have these white underbellies. Often the blue spot on the side is white or a lighter blue, also. Anyone know what that's about? Season (April), gender, different species ?? TIA

I have checked with folks in the Andaman Islands (Indian Territory, 700km NNW of Weh) and theirs are blue all over. The mystery remains.
