I found this specimen washed up on the Oregon coast. It was hard, clear, 6" in length, with the feelers coming out of I guess his top! The crown of the head did look like a snail.

Thanks for the help-a whole lot of the Salp are washing up in the Seaside, OR area now. Pretty unusually creature we may never see here again.
This could be a Tunicate (salp) but really not sure. Will lave on the page and see if the community come up with an answer!
