It's Called a Flamingo Tongue Snail http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flamingo_tongue_snail I used to see a Lot in Curacao and southern Caribbean .. they are actually Plain Colour the spots are on the Membrane that comes out from the snail (Tongue) and wraps around it.. Hope that Helps Mark

we know it is an allied cowrie, but what we would really like to know is what kind of sea whip it is sitting on.
