Description
Also known as Dwarf Rainbow, Dwarf Rainbowfish, Featherfin Rainbow, Featherfin Rainbowfish, Threadfin Rainbow, Werneri, Werners Rainbowfish.
Found in small schools, around the edges of slow flowing billabongs, drainage ditches, lagoons, swampy ponds and rivers rich in vegetation. Colours highly variable especially between juvenile to adult.
They feed on algae and micro-crustaceans.
