Description
Also known as Warty-lip Mullet, Warty-lipped Mullet, Wart-lipped Mullet, Warty-nosed Mullet and Thicklip Mullet.
Found in schools in sheltered bays and lagoons often near coral reefs.
They feed on zooplankton and algae.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 1-20m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Mullets are inshore fish, sometimes entering freshwater areas. Often close to the surface or on the sand feeding.
