Also known as Australian Grubfish, Grubfish, Sand Dweller, Southern Grubfish, Weever, Weeverfish.

Found singly, or in small harems, over rubble and seagrass areas, close to coral reefs in sheltered lagoons and coastal reefs.
They feed on crustaceans and invertebrates.
Length - 10cm
Depth - 1-80m
Western Central Pacific - Australia, Tonga
