Description

Also know as Blue-lined Cardinalfish, Bluespot Cardinalfish, Blue-striped Cardinafish, Gold-striped Cardinalfish, Golden-striped Cardinal, Golden-striped Cardinalfish, Nurseryfish, Orange-lined Cardinalfish, Orange-striped Cardinalfish, Yellow Cardinalfish.

Found in small to large schools, during the day sheltering in crevices, holes, under ledges, and in the spines of long-spined sea urchins, dispersing at night hunting for food.
They feed on planktonic crustaceans and small invertebrates.

Widespread Indo-Pacific
