Found singly, or in pairs, over silty reefs, rich in coral growth.
They feed on algae, small anemones, crustaceans, sponges, and worms.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 4-50m
Widespread Mediterranean, Western Indian Ocean

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
