Found hiding during the day, coming out at night, spreading their arms and feeding, between the finger-like branches of hard coral formations, over coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on coral tissue and mucus.

Depth - 0-45m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Brachyura crabs are considered true crabs, they have a short abdomen, 4 walking legs and a pair of clawed arms at the front.
