Description

Also known as Fo Cardinalfish, Samoan Cardinalfish, Samoan Fo.

Found singly or in small schools during the day sheltering around algae covered rocks over silty mud and sand substrate of quiet bays and estuaries.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans and zooplankton.
Length - 3.5cm
Depth - 0-80cm
Widespread Indo-Pacific
