Description

Also known as Bobtail Squid, Bottletail Cuttlefish, Bottletail Squid, Koch's Bottletail Squid, Orange Bottletail Squid.

Found in shallow, coastal waters and lagoons, often buried on muck bottoms, or in the sand with just the eyes showing.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans.
