Also known as Horse Conch, Spindle Shell, Spindle Snail, Striped Fox Conch, Trapeze Conch Shell, Tulip Shell.

Found in both shallow and very deep waters, close to rocky areas of inner reef flats and off-shore reefs.
They feed on molluscs and worms.
Length - 20cm
Depth - 0-40m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Horse Conches are long and spindly with high spired shells, often found encrusted in algae.
