Description

Also known as Blackblotch Emperor, Blackspot Emperor, Pigface Bream.

Found singly or in small schools, over shallow, sandy areas, amongst coral rubble, mangroves, and seagrass beds, close to coral reefs, in channels, lagoons, and seaward reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, invertebrates, molluscs, and worms.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 0-20m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
