Found in stationary schools, close to inshore and offshore reefs, also over submerged reefs of the continental shelf.
They feed on crustaceans and cuttlefish.
Length - 32cm
Depth - 8-100m
Western Pacific - Australia, Papua New Guinea

Usually found in trawl nets but sometimes found in large stationary schools on coastal reefs.
