Description

Also known as Grey Mullet, Lesser Grey Mullet, Thicklip Mullet, Thick-lipped Mullet, Thick-lipped Grey Mullet.

Found in schools in brackish and freshwaters of lagoons and inshore reefs.
They feed on algae, detritus and small invertebrates.
Juveniles found in estuaries and lagoons feeding on zooplankton.

Depth - 0-120m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Black Sea, Mediterranean
